Reading is an effective way for students to learn how to introduce themselves, express their thoughts and share information.

Our approach aims to develop strategies to initiate inclusive reading to improve skills based on comprehension, interpretation, reaction and critical judgment. Consequently, the student will easily answer the text questionnaire.

This inclusive reading opens up discussion on other aspects relating to the style and structure of the text, the vocabulary appropriated by the author, as well as grammar. This introduces the student to develop his or her writing skills by making adequate use of the toolboxes covered. 

Problem solving in mathematics presents most of the time a challenge to succeed in establishing a complete reasoning. So, it should be based on the organization and presentation of all the steps of a complete reasoning.

To this end, the student may face a challenge of understanding, data collection and approach. We aim to help the student develop his or her ability to establish a good reading of the problem statement, the exact transcription of the information, the development of an adequate conceptual plan and finally the application of calculations and verification tools.

The objective is to provide him with several working methods to improve his thinking and his writing of logical, clear and precise reasoning.

This course is aimed at learning the French language. Conversation is at the heart of this learning to enhance phonetics, enrich vocabulary and learn new expressions through methods based on an interactive approach.

Also, part of the session will be reserved for the acquisition and consolidation of the fundamental notions of grammar and conjugation. As a result, the student will be able to better structure his or her sentences and significantly improve communication in English.

This study program is based on interdisciplinary educational approaches adapted to the needs and interests of the student.

To ensure structured and interactive teaching, activities and projects are planned to enable the child to acquire knowledge and develop skills, both written and oral, in each compulsory subject required by the learning project. In addition, the material is based on textbooks to cover the main concepts targeted by the grade level.

In addition, several evaluation methods are periodically set up to validate the progress of the student's learning:

- Organize periodic tests, e.g. prepare an oral presentation or complete a chapter summary test;

- Produce the portfolio to submit to your contact person at the ministry.

- Carry out preparatory activities in order to take the ministerial test if applicable.

According to the Act respecting private education (CQLR, c. E-9.1), it is possible to provide you with a certification of recognition of the acquisition of the learning skills required by the curriculum, supported by all of the Academy's assessments. 

Preparing for high school entrance exam is a necessary step to maximize your child's success in a private school or international school of your choice.

It is important to put in place a structured and effective plan to cover all the concepts and skills that must be acquired in primary school in the main subjects, namely:

1. French: detailed study of grammar and conjugation, as well as written essays.

2. Mathematics: various notions of algebra, geometry, probability and statistics will be covered. In addition, specific questions relating to logic will be studied to teach students strategies for logical thinking and reasoning in an effective time.

3. English and General Knowledge: Some colleges add tests related to these two subjects to measure the potential of candidates.
